This project was done in one of my courses that emphasized working with actual clients. While our instructor had clients lined up, it was up to us to lead briefings and present our final designs. In this case, the Washington High School Alumni Scholarship Foundation was looking for a trifold brochure for their annual report that goes out to previous donors. They provided images, logos and copy but the layout was up to us. I chose to use their logo for inspiration. Taking the curves of their logo through the pages as a border and opting to use a more pastel tone of their school colors. Between the required images and amount of text, I didn’t want to clutter the brochure but instead present the information clearly while showing the schools spirit. Out of the 20 students in this class, the Foundation decided to go bring my design to print and distribution.
